Our Commitment

We believe digital accessibility is a key component of responsible and inclusive communication. While Parklab is not legally required to publish an accessibility statement, we have chosen to do so voluntarily, because we believe that all users should be able to access and benefit from the content and services we design.

1. Compliance Status

The website is currently partially compliant with the WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines. Certain areas are being improved to enhance structural accessibility.

2. Known Accessibility Issues

  • Some graphic elements are missing appropriate alternative text.
  • Insufficient contrast in certain interface elements (e.g., light-on-light CTAs).
  • HTML structure is not always fully semantic (e.g., heading order, missing landmarks).
  • Some interactive elements lack visible focus for keyboard navigation.

3. Accessibility Features Enabled

The site integrates the Iubenda WayWidget, which provides users with configurable accessibility tools, including:

  • Font size, line height, spacing, and text alignment adjustments
  • Dark, light, high-contrast, monochrome, and saturation filters
  • Reading guides, reading masks, focus highlights
  • Animation disablement, image hiding, enlarged cursors

4. Statement Preparation

This statement was prepared on June 24, 2025, based on:

  • Internal accessibility self-assessment
  • Automated testing (Lighthouse, WAVE, axe)
  • Manual tests with keyboard navigation and NVDA screen reader
